Recently I noticed a phenomenon: Every afternoon when school is over, the area outside the campus is crowded with cars waiting to pick up the students, while floods of students walk out to either cross the street or gather to go home, which is very dangerous.

Nowadays many families in China own private cars. It is convenient for parents to use their cars to pick up their child when their house is in the distance. However, many parents come early to the school gate in order to take up a good position, so that their child could find them easily. In fact, they take up many lanes,battle for advantageous parking position, and even quarrel with each other, which set a bad example to their kids.

As far as I am concerned, the government should arrange an area for parents’ parking, and the cars should not be allowed to park within 100 meters from the school gate. Meanwhile, I will tell my parents not to park the car near the school.
